Dr. Kelly Jones came to FBC Monticello as Senior Pastor in June of 2021, following a three-year tenure as the Campus Director of the Arkansas Baptist Homes for Children in Monticello. Jones is a long-time pastor, having held senior pastorates at FBC Harrisburg (2010-18) and FBC DeWitt (2006-10). He also served on staff at Faith Baptist Church in Bartlett, Tennessee and Second Baptist West Helena. Dr. Jones is a graduate of Phillips Community College and Delta State University. He received a master of divinity from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary and a doctor of ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Jones and his wife Joan have four children - Adam, Nick, Maryjoy, and Brooklyn.

    Ron Paul has been on staff at FBC Monticello since 2009. He has led worship in local churches for over 25 years. Ron is also a leader in the Senior Adult Ministry here at FBC Monticello, and coordinates events like S.N.A.P. (Sunday Night at the Park) and the annual "We've Got Your Back" school supply giveaway. Ron holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Education from Ouachita Baptist University, and he is passionate about leading people to worship. He and his wife, Gina, have two adult children, Karaline and Christian.

    Kevin has been on staff at FBC Monticello since November of 2007. He served on staff at FBC Booneville for 8 years as Education and Youth Minister. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies Language from Ouachita Baptist University and a master's degree in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Michele, have two adult children, Kayla and Jordan. Kevin is passionate about seeing families grow in the faith and leading others to the saving knowledge of the Gospel.

    Luke joined the FBC staff in August of 2021, after being a football coach and Math teacher for three years (split between The Baptist Preparatory School in Little Rock and Shiloh Christian School in Springdale). He also taught discipleship classes and served as a chapel speaker during that time. Luke, a Nashville, Arkansas native, is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University and the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife Carrie Beth, also a graduate of OBU, were married in December of 2018.

    Curt joined the FBC staff in October of 2021.  He loves the creative aspect of this work and seeks to use his talents to assist our staff in a variety of ways.  Curt and his wife, Danna, have two adult children, Joshua and Mackenzie.  He is a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas (bachelor's) and the University of Central Missouri (master's).  The Crooks also work together to support foster families and children at the Arkansas Baptist Homes for Children in Monticello as Directors of Support Services.

    Jacey joined the FBC staff in March of 2017. She attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello and obtained a degree in Communication Studies. Jacey loves to tell stories and, in her spare time, she enjoys creating art, talking about anything relating to pop culture, and spreading the Good Word about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
