Our church could not function without the selfless work our volunteers. There are many different ways to serve at FBC Monticello. Take a look at the list below, find an area (or areas) where you can contribute, and jump in!

"Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in various forms."

1 Peter 4:10

At FBC Monticello, we provide childcare on Sundays and during various events. Our childcare volunteers provide dependable, safe, secure, and nurturing care to children so that their parents or guardians may participate in the various ministries at FBC. Our childcare ministry is for newborns through preschool age children. Contact Pastor Kevin for more information.

Greeting people as they enter the church is more than a handshake and a smile. It is an opportunity to express God's love and help set the tone of the upcoming worship service. Our First Impressions Team (F.I.T.) is here to make people feel safe and welcome at FBC Monticello. Talk to one of our F.I.T. members or call the church office to find out more.

The LOVE portion of our mission statement is highlighted by the efforts of our hospitality team. This includes event set-up and take-down, cooking, preparing gifts for families in need, and other outreach missions. Contact Pastor Ron for more information.

Whether it is someone to check kids in as they arrive, someone to watch the hallways for strays, a musician for praise and worship, or someone to lead a breakout discussion group, volunteers are always needed for our students and kids ministries. Contact Pastor Kevin for more information.

Life Groups are an important part our church mission to show Christ-like love to others, equip the saints for ministry, go with the gospel, and send people into the mission field to reflect God's character and extend His kingdom. Life Groups meet on Sunday mornings at 9:00, but are designed to be flexible to accommodate the group's schedule. Contact the church office for more information.

  • MUSIC & A/V

Put those God-given talents to good use as a part of the FBC Monticello music ministry. Join the choir, lead worship as a part of the praise team or play an instrument. We also have opportunities to help with audio boards, screen operation, and video recording. Contact Pastor Ron for more information.

The FBC Security team is the first to arrive and last to leave, making sure the church and all inside of it are safe and secure during campus activity. Experience in security or law enforcement is not required. This team is made up of men and women who are good observers and know what to do in case of an emergency. Contact the church office for more information.

Just like at your home, there is always something that needs to be done at the church. It could be something as simple as changing a lightbulb or putting new batteries in paper towel dispensers. It's all valuable work in God's eyes. Contact the church office for more information.
