  • Read through the bible in 2018

Bible reading is a significant factor that contributes to our growth in godliness. However, according to research recently conducted by Lifeway Christian Resources, 80% of Christians have never read through the entire Bible for themselves. Many who claim to be people of God’s Word are largely unfamiliar with it.

In 2018, we’re going to read through the Bible, together, as a church. To help us, we’ll follow a chronological plan developed by George Guthrie in Reader’s Guide to the Bible. Guthrie’s book provides brief commentary for each section of reading, as well as questions at the end of each week that would be beneficial for small group discussion.  If you did not purchas a book you can follow along each week with the bulletin.

There are still copies available to purchase in the church office.

    Books are $10.
