If your child is participating in Faith First Youth Hoops this season, you should have been contacted by the team's coach. If not, contact Pastor Kevin. Practices will be going on throughout the month of December on Mondays and Tuesdays. Games will begin the first full week of January and run through late February. Faith First is a collaborative ministry of First Baptist Church, Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church, and Pauline Baptist Church.
For students in grades 6-12. There will be various mission projects done throughout town. Students that are planning on going to Street Reach and/or the New York City Mission Trip must participate in Serve Monticello. Cost is $20 due by February 5.
For college students, high school juniors and seniors, and church leaders, a one-day conference designed to help transition from one phase of your journey with Christ to another. Primary topics include leadership, engaging culture in defense of the Gospel, and being missional in life transitions. Cost is $30 if you register by February 17. Super Summer Arkansas 2020 is closer than you think. Registration opens in February. Cost for the JV camp (Grades 6-8) is $220, and the cost the HS camp (Grades 9-12) is $245. Super Summer will once again be held at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia. Scholarships and payment plans are available. Contact Pastor Steven for more information.
FBC is excited to once again be partnering with Living Water International to send a mission team to El Salvador this summer. The team will help drill a well to provide a community with access to safe and clean drinking water, while also sharing living water-the Gospel of Jesus Christ. On a Living Water trip, you will witness the transformational power that clean water brings to a community, and you will also form friendships as you share God's love. Kids in Pre-K (4 years old) trough 5th grade, join the First Kids Choir! The last rehearsal for the 2019 calendar year will be on December 18. It will resume on January 15, 2020. Come let your kids grow in their knowledge of God through songs. Check in is at the gym, followed by a hearty snack, and choir practice in the choir room. Kids are encouraged to stick around after for First Kids Midweek at 6 PM upstairs.
You can now give your offering via TEXT MESSAGING. You will need to send a text message with a dollar amount (e.g. "$10") to 1-870-300-2592. Upon your first time giving via text, you will have to fill out a short form with your billing information. After the initial setup, giving will be as easy as sending a text.
