JANUARY HEADLINES

NEW SERVICE TIMES

Please note that we are no longer offering two in-person worship services on Sunday mornings. We will now be worshiping together as a church family on Sundays at 10 AM in the Worship Center. Our 10 AM service will also be broadcast live on our YouTube channel. Life Groups will now start at 9 AM. Click HERE for a list of our Life Group options. If you’re new to Life Groups, pick one and jump in. All of our groups welcome new members. Childcare (babies through pre-school) is available during the Life Group hour only. We encourage you to attend together as a family during our Worship Service.

JANUARY PREACHING

Throughout the month of January, Pastor Kevin Henry will be preaching a series called “the better ONE” based on scripture in the New Testament books of 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, and Titus.

ONLINE MIDWEEK RESUMES

Online Midweek resumes on January 6 with videos airing on Facebook and YouTube. Pastor Kevin will continue to lead our kids (K-5), and Bro. CJ Womack will be back to lead our students (grades 6-12). Videos air on Wednesday nights, and are available to watch at a later time. Although these videos are targeted to a younger audience, these are great bible study resources for all ages.

NEW ONLINE GIVING PROVIDER

We are excited about our new online giving platform called RebelGive. The provider never takes a cut of any gift and we have negotiated the lowest market rates for the church. Did you know that every time you have given money to the church online, we lose a percentage of that gift as a fee? With the new platform, 100 percent of your gift will go directly to our church. Links and requests for givers to switch over their recurring giving will be released once the new system is active. We will keep our current online giving system active for the time being. Contact Joan Jones at the church office for more information.

LOTTIE MOON OFFERING

THANK YOU to those of you that have given to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. Because of your generosity, our church not only met its goal of $7,000, it was more than surpassed with a total of just over $9,500 as of the end of December. This money supports missionaries all across the globe as they strive to reach the millions of unreached people with the gospel. There is still plenty of time to make a gift if you have not. You can give through offering envelopes at the church or online HERE. Learn more about Lottie Moon at imb.org/lmco.

DIRECTORY INFORMATION

We do our best to make sure all of our members, prospective members, and guests are kept informed about the activities and ministries of the church. We know some are accidentally left out, so to help us avoid that, please make sure we have the correct information for you and your family. Please take a few moments to fill out an online form HERE on our website and include your most up to date information. You do not have to be a member of church to fill out the form. This is also an easy way for those of you that have moved recently, changed phone numbers, changed email addresses, etc. to keep the information in our system accurate. Thank you for your help.

CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS

Looking for a way to get involved with the church? We are always on the lookout for new volunteers in our many ministries. Just some of the areas include our First Impressions Team, Security Team, Audio/Visual Team, and others. Experience is not required to be a part of our volunteer teams. We are looking for people that have a servant’s heart. Training will be provided. For more information about those teams, click HERE or contact a member of the church staff.

COVID-19 SAFETY GUIDELINES

During this time, our focus is on the health and safety of everyone that comes into our church facilities. We ask that you please help us prevent the spread of COVID-19 by wearing a face mask and maintaining social distancing while you are on our church campus. We also ask that if you are not feeling well or have symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home. Face masks are available at the main entrances of the campus, and hand sanitizer is available at many locations through the church.
