OCTOBER HEADLINES

OCTOBER WORSHIP SERVICE SCHEDULE

During the month of October, we will continue to offer two in-person worship services on Sundays at 8:30 and 11 AM. Our 8:30 service will be streamed live on YouTube, and will be available to watch later on YouTube or on our website (click Media in the drop down menu). Dr. Kelly Jones will be preaching through Philippians in October.

YELLOW PHASE OF RE-OPENING PLAN COMING SOON

The next phase of the church’s re-opening plan is coming soon. We have been in our Orange phase since early June, and we will be moving into our Yellow phase within the next month, which will include in-person Life Group options. The plans for resuming in-person groups including a launch date, will be announced in the middle of October. Be watching for that information coming out through email, Sunday morning announcements, and by video announcement through social media. For more information about our re-opening plan and its different phases, visit our website (click re-opening in the drop-down menu). Until that launch date, we will continue our online Life Groups for kids, men, and women.

VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION SET FOR OCTOBER 4

If you have served on one of our volunteer teams over the past few months, we want to say thank you for all that you have done in this unprecented time. Join us Sunday, October 4 at 10 AM in the Multi-Ministry Center for donuts, coffee, juice, and other snacks to allow us as a church staff to show our appreciation. This will also be a time for us to look at the upcoming months and work through scheduling and other items pertaining to your important roles in our church.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

Throughout the next month (October 4-November 8), we will be collecting boxes for Operation Christmas Child, which provides opportunities for the gospel to be shared all across the world through gifts for children in need. This year, we are asking that you deliver completed boxes to the church office by November 8. Supply lists and packing information can be found online at www.samaritanspurse.org/what-we-do/operation-christmas-child. Contact Pastor Kevin for more information. The church will have boxes available.
