Pack your bags, and grab your gear! It’s time to take kids on an epic adventure, unearthing the truth about Jesus. VBS will be held July 11-15 from 6-8:30 PM each night. This is free for kids who are three years old through those have just completed fifth grade. Throughout the week, we will dig into the Bible to find evidence that the stories aren’t just stories. They really happened, and they all point to Jesus. There will be worship time each night, Bible study, crafts, games, and snacks. If you haven’t already signed your child up to participate, it’s not too late. Sign up HERE. You can also register by calling or stopping by the church during normal office hours. We are also needing older kids and adult volunteers for the week. Contact Pastor Kevin or Cara Akin for more information.

Our annual back-to-school event called “We’ve Got Your Back” has been scheduled for July 29 from 6-7:30 inside the Multi-Ministry Center. We will have backpacks with school supplies and other essentials to give out to school-age children in Monticello and surrounding communities. There will also be health screenings and other medical services provided during the night, and it’s all for free! The best way for you to help is to make a donation to the event to help with purchasing school supplies. You can designate your gift to “We’ve Got Your Back” or you can give online here on our website. We will also need volunteers for the event, and we will need help on packing day, which is tentatively set for July 23 from 9:30-11 AM at the church. Contact Pastor Ron for more information.
