MISSIONS

Living Water International

Living Water International exists to demonstrate the love of God by helping communities acquire desperately needed clean water, and to experience "living water"—the gospel of Jesus Christ—which alone satisfies the deepest thirst.

tHE THIRTY

A prayer team meets during the worship service in order to pray for God’s movement among us. By becoming a member of “The Thirty” you will meet with a prayer team once a month at 10:45am on your assigned Sunday. If you would like to join “The Thirty”, please call the church office at 367-3449.

CHOIR AND PRAISE TEAM

Worship Choir

Our worship choir leads in worship on Sunday mornings in the Celebration service. If you are interested in being a part of the choir or want to find out more about this opportunity, simply attend a rehearsal on Wednesday evening at 6:00pm in the Choir Room. Anyone is welcome to be a part of this group that joins their talents and hearts together to lead others in worship.

Praise Team

This team includes both vocalists and instrumentalists that have a desire to share their talents and gifts to help others connect with God through worship. If you are interested in being a part of this team, please join us for choir and visit with our worship leader about what you might be able to share in the Celebration service.

aUDIO VISUAL MINISTRY

This team uses their talents in the technical arts to ensure that our message is clear in a high-tech age. Their responsibilities include operating computers by running powerpoints, balancing and mixing sound, recording our services, working with lighting and managing the details of Sunday services and special events. If you love technology, this is the place to serve. If you are interested, please contact the church office or email ron@fbcmonticello.com to find out how to connect with this ministry.

SERVE AT FBC

Imagine what our families, church, and community would be like if we all took the time to do what God uniquely designed each of us to do in serving others. The ripple effect of each person making their unique contribution would result in a revolution of Christ's love being felt in tangible, life-changing ways. Whether you have lots of time to volunteer each week or only a few hours every once in a while, consider making the kind of impact that only you can make. Your life will never be the same!

Where do I start?

Begin by asking yourself, "What am I passionate about?" What issue or people group really catches your interest?

Next, consider how God has uniquely wired you. Consider your personality, skills, abilities, and life experiences. How could these help you make a meaningful contribution in the lives of others?
